E-Learning may be a good alternative for those who prefer to learn in the comfort of their own home and at a time convenient to them. Below are a list of courses currently available as online e-learning packages ...
This new online learning has been endorsed as an alternative to the three hour workshop, if your club is currently working towards Clubmark Accreditation or Re-Accreditation. For only £20 you'll be able to complete the learning, obtain your certificate, print out your action plan and start reaping the benefits of this exciting online course. An online course written by the NSPCC which provides a basic introduction to keeping children safe in sport. £26 (+VAT) per delegate. For more information and to download a booking form: CLICK HERE. NOTE: The online course is not equivalent to the scUK Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport, NGB specific or LSCB safeguarding workshops (e.g. for Clubmark or Coaching Qualification purposes). People in roles with significant contact or responsibility for children should attend a classroom based workshop. The course is however a useful resource either for people that aren't required by their NGB/organisation to attend a taught (3 hour) workshop (e.g. those with occasional or incidental contact with children), or as a prescursor to a taught course for those who are required to attend a workshop.
